It’s very rare for me to give one of Sam’s recipes a 4, but there is a problem with these muffins. They taste too much like cake, and unlike her other muffins. So, they would be delicious cupcakes, but less than perfect muffins. The texture is amazing – light and moist. The recipe doesn’t say how far to fill the papers. It should be about 3/4 full. If you don’t mind getting only 11 muffins, you can fill them almost to the top, because they don’t rise too much. I did that, and they had a little crown to them, but not too much.

I just made these muffins, and as with all of Sam’s recipes, these are absolutely delicious! Soft, moist, with excellent peach flavor. A keeper recipe for sure! ❤️

It was just a tiny bit labor intensive but oh OH MY they smell so incredibly good. I can hardly wait to try it. Topped half of them with salted caramel sugar and the other half with bourbon black walnut sugar.
