Hi Lori! That should work just fine. 🙂
]]>These are very moist and chocolatey! I made half a recipe but still ended up with 12 muffins. I did top them with chocolate crumbs and really liked the slight crunch and extra flavor, which reminded me of brownies. The crumb dough was very soft and not crumbly though so I will try cutting back on the butter. I pressed the dough into large crumbs and refrigerated them to prevent spreading in the oven. Here are the ingredients in case you’d like to try it.
1 c. flour
2/3 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
6 tbsp. cocoa powder
pinch of salt
8 tbsp. melted butter
A chocolate crumb topping sounds wonderful. I hope you love the muffins! 🙂
]]>Just perfect. Fast to make, moist, sweet, no crumbs everywhere, the entire house smells amazing. The kids are super happy. I was lucky to choose it for a try. It will remain on top of my list.
OK, I admit…you have to share with your neighbours, it just smells amazing all around, you can not hide.
I really appreciate the testing that goes into your recipes! Your first recipe was good, but this is even better! These are so moist and delicious; the others often came out slightly dry. The hot water with the cocoa and the reduction in flour (plus the sour cream) make all the difference.
