And of course, ANOTHER wonderful recipe! This is my favorite time of year, the weather, the candle scents, the desserts. This was the perfect recipe to bring in the month of November. I couldn’t find my ginger so I just added a little more Allspice. They have the perfect amount of spices without being overwhelming, so good with and without the icing. I LOVED these cookies and it’s rare that I actually ever eat any of the stuff I cook or bake. Sometimes I don’t even try a nibble until I’m all done, which is a no-no I know. But these ones are fantastic. Very easy to make and very easy to go! Don’t expect to worry about the storage instructions on these ones, they won’t be around long enough.

Hi Sam
Made these yesterday and I am unsure if “Wonderful” is sufficient to describe them.
A breeze to make and I gave them away because if they stayed in the house I would not be able to stop eating them.
Gonna make them again tommorrow.

Just made these and they are delicious! I rolled them in granulated sugar before baking and skipped the glaze due to time. They seemed fragile coming out of the oven so I let them cool on the cookie sheet for about 5 minutes before moving them to the cooling rack. This recipe was very easy to follow. Thank you for sharing!

Hi Lisa! I actually tried this recipe with brown butter first, I thought it would be a slam-dunk win for flavor but in the final cookie we couldn’t even detect the brown butter flavor, the spices overpower it too much. All of my taste-testers agreed that browning the butter wasn’t worth the effort because we couldn’t tell in the end product.
