This is an amazing recipe as usual. I was unsure about making cut out biscuits but this recipe is so easy and they are a huge hit with my family. I have had to double the recipe just to make sure we had enough.

I had the same issue as Michelle, my loaf was very dark after 15 minutes uncovered, and it was very difficult to remove from the well oiled loaf pan. This was my first time making sourdough bread. Suggestions?

I have been using this recipe since 2018! I’ll never use another. This makes such a delicious crust that every time I make it for company or family all they can talk about is that!! I’ve always used active dry yeast, mixed as directed, and always is successful. I use a pizza stone, preheated it makes a nice crispy bottom even with regular unbleached flour. Thank you for this recipe!! I’ll always be a dedicated follower.

I had never made a cheesecake, I thought I would try this for a buddy who was leaving town for a summer job. The fact no water bath was required made it even more enticing to try. I watched the video and followed the instructions to a T. Came out perfect. Our spring-form pan did not leak one bit, but used foil in a cookie sheet just in case. I will make this for my wife when she comes back home from a deployment, will make her happy for sure.

Made three batches of these for my coworkers and everyone loved it!! I’ve made countless of recipes and I have to say these are easily the best cookies I’ve ever made. Everyone was asking for seconds! The recipe is fairly easy to make, but I’d suggest a few things. First is I probably would not double or triple the recipe unless you have the tools available. The cookie dough is super thick and not easy to work with in big quantities, since it requires a good stand mixer or hand kneading. Secondly, I would also recommend putting the ganache in the fridge first before attempting to spoon them on a tray. This is far easier than trying to shape slightly thick goop into a ball. I also followed the weight as opposed to the volume measurements, which I would recommend for consistent texture and flavour.

This is an awesome frosting! I did adapt it and used browned butter that I had made and chilled down to solid.
