These came out amazing! I made them with Reese’s peanut butter cups broken up in one and m&m candies in another using the recipe base. To try and keep them as fresh as possible I wrapped them individually. Thank you for such an awesome recipe!

I just made these with regular Oreos and golden ones! Sooo yummy – they are seriously delicious and I love the textures of the Oreo cookie and mini marshmallows embedded in the Rice Krispie treat! The vanilla gives it something special also. I highly recommend and I can’t wait to try with more Oreos! I have mint and birthday cake cookies but I need more butter and Rice Krispie cereal lol

Sorry about the confusion! When I first published this recipe years ago it did use condensed milk, but when I updated it in April of this year I removed the sweetened condensed milk from the recipe (for the better). I’ve just removed the comment you mentioned because I agree, that is confusing. And normally I make a note when I update any recipe on the blog but according to my analytics this particular post was viewed by essentially no one, so I didn’t bother because I didn’t think anyone even knew it existed. And yes, using any Oreo would be fine. I hope that helps clear things up, and sorry about the confusion!

I’m about to try these – but I just need some clarification as I was going to try them with many different types of Oreos and I don’t want to mess up. I went and bought a bunch of sweetened condensed milk , because for some reason I swore it was in the recipe.. but when I look it isn’t. BUT there are two different replies talking about about how the sweetened condensed milk makes it and another that says 8 cups of cereal because of the milk – it needs more. But the recipe is only 6 cups. Was this updated ? Should I just make it as it says – I’m bugging about leaving out the condensed milk . Any advice would be appreciated. (I also swear I saw / read a comment about how it would be okay to use any oreo – but I can’t find that either , so would it be okay? And maybe I’m thinking of an Oreo bar recipe? I don’t know .. I creeped on here for awhile but I’m left to ask for him – the comments/ replies here have me thinking there should be the condensed milk ? Thank you in advance for any help 🙂
