Easy recipe, clean everything with lemon juice and it who’s up in about 3 minutes. put it on S’more cupcakes and it’s the perfect topper. I didn’t realize when toasted the edges of the piping tip will shrink a little but luckily I used a 1M and didn’t lose any ridges. Highly recommend!!
Your one of the 1st places I go when I want to make something different.

Hi Sam! If you pipe it onto a cupcake, it will be fine. The outer layer will crisp up a little bit so it holds shape. You may need to re-whip it if you store it to pipe later, but it will be fine on the cupcakes unless they are exposed to high heat and humidity. πŸ™‚

I just wanted to be sure as in the recipe card it says if it sits for several hours you may have to re-whip!

Hi Francine! I actually have a section in post on refrigerating the frosting. πŸ™‚

Easy and very tasty.
Does this refrigerate well?

Perfectly Fluffly! This is seriously the best frosting hack ever. So quick and simple and comes out perfect everytime. I can’t stress enough the importance for cleaning ALL bowls and spatulas. I wipe mine down with white vinegar and then dry well before using. It makes ALOT of frosting, i beautifully piped almost 2.5 dozen with big pillows. Cut it in half the next time and it was still perfect. Oh and not too sweet at all. Thank you for sharing this epic recipe!

Hi Megan! I’m not sure it would be completely smooth. I would say probably about as smooth as you could do with a whipped cream. πŸ™‚

This recipe whipped up beautifully. They piped on the cupcakes nicely. So far the frosting has withstood the heat without sliding off the cupcakes. I’m really impressed with this recipe and will definitely be using it again!

I made a half batch for a smaller batch of chocolate cupcakes today and oh my gosh, it is so good. So marshmallowy and delicious. Will definitely be making this again in the future!
Also, the instructions are clear and easy to follow!

This recipe is excellent. It is soft and billowy. I really appreciated that it wasn’t overly sweet. Make it, you won’t be sorry

I’m so sorry to hear this! If it was really warm you could have this issue, or maybe the frosting may have just needed to be whipped a bit longer to be a bit thicker? πŸ™

Frosting was so nice and thick. Cooled my cake for hours. After frosting the cake the frosting slid from every layer. So disappointing!

Sooo yummy!!! I made a half batch which was plenty to generously cover 12 chocolate cupcakes plus lots of tasting along the way.
